This might offend most people but as an open minded individual, I became quite fascinated with her. I met Bettie while accidentally surfing the channels and found her film, The Notorious Bettie Page, on HBO.
It's a very interesting story. I was instantly captivated. My favorite line was when after she modeled in exotic/ bondage/ sexy photos, she decided to turn back to being a Christian. As she was giving out fliers to passers by join her church, this conversation took place and her answer is my favorite line.
Man: "Hey aren't you Bettie Page, the girl in all that pornographic photos. Aren't you ashamed of what you did?"
Bettie Page: I'm not ashamed. Adam and Eve were naked in the Garden of Eden, weren't they? When they sinned, they put on clothes.
